Why Scheveningen, why now
When we opened in 2023, Scheveningen wasn't the obvious choice for an Indian restaurant — most people think beach town, fish, and bicycles before they think biryani. Three years on, Anaya Foods has become a regular stop for guests from Centrum, Zeeheldenkwartier, Statenkwartier, and Benoordenhout, as well as visitors discovering Den Haag's coast for the first time.
What hasn't changed is the food itself: fresh ingredients, no preservatives, recipes from across India's regions, and a menu built so vegetarian, vegan, and Halal guests can all order at the same table without compromise.
